New toys are being released! This is unconfirmed, but somepony's got in contact with Hasbro Australia and had some dates for upcoming toys given to them. We're looking at getting:
- Princess Cadance (the talking one, a la this video) due June
- Shining Armor and Princess Cadance Fashion Style Set, exclusive to Big W and due in October
- Princesses Celestia and Luna, Fashion Style, exclusive to Target and due June.
No word as of yet on the Lyra, Zecora, Trixie and Nightmare Moon toys we saw at the Toy Fair a few months ago. Here's hoping we get them before Christmas.
Just a quick update on the DVD release of Friendship is Magic in Australia. Madman have put up a listing on their site for Volume 3 of the five volume set, titled Four Seasons of Friendship, and is due for release on August 1 retailing for $19.95.

The second release in the US series of DVDs is the Royal Wedding finale, packaged with Hearts and Hooves Day, Sweet and Elite, and The Best Night Ever (according to Shout Factory's press release). It's due for release on August 7. Those who want the finale on physical media ASAP can find it here, otherwise it's entirely possible that Madman may bring the whole second season here as a boxset as they're doing with Season 1, although that will presumably be some way off.
This is almost a week old and I bet everyone has seen it, but heck, it's still awesome and Jazza wants me to post more news.
